The Orchard Golf Club is a 45 minutes north of Gainesville in Clarkesville roaming through a scenic setting abutting the Chattahoochee National Forest in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

The golf course is part of a resort, residential development with homes along the fairways mostly set back in among the trees. The fairways are lined with old growth hardwoods bordering numerous ponds and streams with a generous amount of sand traps both at the landing zones and guarding the greens. From the middle tees it's 6,294 yards, 70.7/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Dan Maples.
