The Ranch Club is a private club yet open to limited public play. It is located just 10 minutes from downtown Missoula, off Mullen Road, on the south side of the Missoula Airport.

The course is a links-style design over a minimally impacted, large tract of rolling, treeless land with views of the Missoula Valley and surrounding mountains for miles. The fairways are mounded and bordered by tall fescue grasses. Sand bunkering is positioned along the landing zones and greens, in addition to several stunning water hazards in play and greens of varying shapes and sizes. It was designed by Les Furber with multiple tees from 5,096 to 7,020 yards from the tips, 73.0/129, course/slope ratings.
