The Ranches Golf Club is west of Lehi midway between Provo and Salt Lake in Eagle Mountain in a residential community.

The setting provides for scenic views throughout; to the south is Lake Mountain and Utah Lake, east is the Wasatch Front, and west are the peaks of the Oquirrh Mountains. It's a mostly level layout along mounded fairways and wide open off the tee with sand bunkers in play along the landing zones and guarding the large greens. The course has tees from 5,287 yards to 7,050 yards, the Gold tees are at 6,500 yards, 70.6/121, course/slope ratings, designed by Ron Garl.
