The Reserve is on rolling farmland in the Willamette Valley, 20 miles west of downtown Portland. It has two 18-hole championship layouts that rotate between public and private play.
The South course is parkland-style, over rolling terrain and along broad, tree-lined fairways. A prodigious number and variety of sand bunkers defend the greens and fairway landing zones, in addition to a stream traversing multiple holes and several ponds. Five sets of tees are available overall, from 5,189 yards to 7,172 yards, with the middle tees playing to 6,201 yards, 69.9/131 course/slope ratings, designed by John Fought.
The North is a rolling, links-style layout over mounded, undulating fairways. There are multiple streams, ponds and the Ettinger Reservoir in play with a modest amount of sand bunkers along the landing zones and greens all bordered by tall, native fescue grasses at the margins. From the tips it plays to 6,835 yards, 73.8/130, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Bob Cupp.
