The Rock at the Drummond Island Resort is located on the north shore of Drummond Island, the largest freshwater island in the United States one mile off the eastern tip of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula 60 miles from the Mackinac Bridge.

The golf course is a shot maker's layout traversing tree lined fairways along numerous doglegs and features two island greens. Each hole is unique and isolated as it's carved through the deep woods with 33 sand bunkers mostly around the greens and water in play on 8 holes including waterfalls. The golf course was designed by Harry Bowers and plays to a total length of 6,830 yards, 74.9/142, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
