The Virtues Golf Club is located 75 minutes northeast of Columbus in the rolling hills east of Newark and north of Zanesville.

The routing is set on undulating, Eastern Ohio farmland with the main challenge the hilly fairways producing countless uneven lies. The course moves along wide landing areas bordered with trees and water hazards with doglegs on a number of holes guarded by fairway bunkers and natural wetland areas. The course can play long and tough at 7,243 yards, 75.2/138 course/slope ratings from the tips with 4 shorter sets of tees, designed by Arthur Hills in 1999.
