The Wilderness Club is on the Canadian border in Eureka, about 1.5 hours northwest of Kalispell.

The golf course combines links-style and parkland design elements with tall prairie grasses, adding definition to the fairways. The fairways run hard and fast, there's a moderate use of sand bunkers and multiple water hazards, and the greens are generous, contoured, and undulating. It's a Nick Faldo design on the east side of Lake Koocanusa and very scenic at about 2,500-3,000 feet in elevation, surrounded by mountains, national parks, and forests. There's tees from 5,431 yards to 7,207 yards, the silver tees are at 6,119 yards 68.9/122, course and slope ratings.
