The Wilderness Golf Course is 40 minutes south of Houston west of 288 on Brazoria Road in Lake Jackson in an Audubon Sanctuary.

The golf course was carved through a clearing in an environmentally sensitive area with wetlands and/or lakes impacting almost every hole along with sand bunkers at the landing areas and guarding the greens. It plays to 7,106 yards from the tips, 72.9/126, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Jeff Brauer.
