Thendara is a classic mountain layout in the foothills of the west central Adirondacks.

The course clambers over the rolling, deep forest on the Moose River's west side with moderate elevation change along tree-lined fairways. It's a tale of two nines, the front, a rather flat 9 holes with some classic pot bunkers with a challenging set of greens. The back is challenging and in an interesting and scenic setting with views of the River. It plays to 6,203 yards from the back tees, 71.1/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, the front nine was designed by Donald Ross and the back nine by Russell Bailey.
