Thendara is a classic, mountain layout in the foothills of the west central Adirondacks.

The course clambers over the rolling, deep forest on the west side of the Moose River with moderate change in elevation along tree lined fairways. It's a tale of two nines, the front, a rather flat 9 holes with some classic cop bunkers with a challenging set of greens. The back is challenging with an interesting, and scenic setting. It plays to 6,203 yards from the back tees, 71.1/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, the front nine was designed by Donald Ross and the back nine by Russell Bailey.
