Thief River Golf Club is on the north side of Thief River Falls on Highway 32 about an hour east of Grand Forks.

The course is a parkland style layout journeying over level terrain on either side of the Thief River in a scenic and quiet, setting crossing the River multiple times producing several forced carries. The fairways are bordered with trees along with a moderate amount of sand bunkers mostly positioned greenside. The course plays to 6,336 yards from the tips, 70.5/120, course/slope ratings and two shorter tees with design work by Tim Haugen.
