The Ticonderoga Golf Course is on the southwest side of Ticonderoga in a relative clearing surrounded by the deep forest in the Lord Howe Valley on the north side of Lake George in the Adirondack Park.

The golf course is in a scenic setting surrounded by foothills and moves over rolling contours along fairways loosely defined by scattered evergreens. Trout Brook splits the layout from north to south and is in play on seven holes in addition to several ponds. It's a short, 5,977 yards, 69.9/116, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Seymour Dunn.
