Timber Wolf is on the east side of Kalkaska on MI 72.

The layout is carved through the pines over rolling terrain, producing a few blind shots. There are 35 conventional,l waste areas, and pot sand bunkers defending the landing zones and greens with generous oval green complexes. Jerry Matthews designed the layout, which has three sets of tees, with the tips playing to 6,477 yards, 72.3/134, course/slope ratings.
