Timbergate is about 30 minutes south of Indy at exit 80 off I-65 partially bordering a residential community.

It's a wide open, links style layout with a generous amount of sand bunkers and water features in play yet is mostly fair off the tee. The fairways are mounded and contoured a bit with the first cut of rough heavy and off the fairways is tall fescue grasses. It was designed by Clyde Johnston and Fuzzy Zoeller with a total of five sets of tees, the middle tees at 6,109 yards, 69.7/129, course/slope ratings.
