The Towa Golf Course with 27 holes is part of the Buffalo Thunder Resort on the Pueblo of Pojoaque about 12 miles north of the Santa Fe.

The layout is a minimalist design using the existing land contours, formations, and vegetation as it was as it marches through the high desert bordered by the piñon trees and surrounded by the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez mountains. It's a target layout providing a variety of interesting and challenging holes with the Boulder nine having the only island green in New Mexico while the Pinon starts out with a bang, a 630 yard par 5!
