Trail Ruts is a 9 hole layout located 1 1/2 hours north of Cheyenne of I-25 at exit 92/US 26 on the southwest side of Guernsey.

The golf course is surrounded by butte country and intersected by the Oregon Trail where the ruts from the wagons crossing the trail years ago are imprinted into the land. It's a short, rudimentary layout along the North Platte River over level terrain with scattered trees along the fairways leading to tiny greens with 7 sand bunkers overall.
