Trestle Creek is 33 miles from the Idaho border on I-90 at exit 22 at St. Regis, a little over an hour west of Missoula.

The course is a nine-hole parkland layout bordering I-90 and the Clark Fork River, with the fairways defined by trees. It's a rather straightforward layout with one slight dogleg, a forced carry, and nine sand bunkers, primarily around the greens. There are two sets of tees. From the back tees, it plays to 3,135 yards or 6,281 yards for 18 holes, 70.1/121 course/slope ratings, designed by Grant Lincoln and Mike Mast in the mid-1990s.
