Tri-County CC is 45 minutes south of Buffalo on the east side of Fredonia in Forestville just south of the Silver Creek Reservoir.

The golf course is a traditional layout with scattered trees lining the fairways, sand traps around the greens, and Silver Creek cutting across several holes in addition to multiple ponds. The holes move quickly up and down slopes on the front where the strength of the layout resides while the back side is rather straightforward by comparison. It plays to 6,829 yards from the tips, 73.3/125 course and slope ratings with three shorter tee boxes, designed by Charles G. Nieman.
