The Union City CC is on the south side of Union City about 45 minutes southeast of Erie and 30 minutes east of the Edinboro exit off I-79.

The layout is an interesting contrast with the longer front side from the 1960s and the back side from early 2000. There's a mix of narrow, tree lined corridors in addition to those along broad fairways with scattered trees along the borders. There's several ponds and streams in play, but little in the way of sand traps. It was designed by John Ponko and is only 6,295 yards from the tips, 69.7/129 course and slope ratings with two shorter tees.
