Highlands Ranch is on the south side of Denver in Littleton off I-470 at Santa Fe Drive.

The layout is parkland-style design along contoured fairways defined by trees with a dozen holes over mostly open, rolling terrain in a residential community while the remaining holes drop down along the heavily forested Marcy Gulch and the Highline Canal. The canal is in play on multiple holes in addition to a pond, and sand traps defend the landing zones and greens of various shapes and sizes. It's a Hale Irwin design that can play to 7,179 yards from the tips, the middle tees are 6,311 yards, 67.3/122, course/slope ratings.
