The University's golf course is on the west side of campus off Nez Pierce with views of the Palouse countryside.

The golf course is a traditional layout providing a variety of holes with the hilly and sloping fairways rarely offering a level lie. The front nine is somewhat open while the back side becomes more parkland style along narrow, tree-lined fairways with a strong finish known as "Heartbreak Ridge".
