The Valley Golf Course is on the north side of East Grand Forks on the east bank of the Red River.

The layout strolls along fairways defined by mature oak and pine trees on the front side with a more roomy and open back side. There's a large water hazard impacting play on multiple holes with a sprinkling of sand bunkers alongside the greens. The golf course has three sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,274 yards, 73.3/139, course/slope ratings with design work on the back nine by Martin Krueger in 2006.
