Valley View is about 30 minutes from downtown Louisville in Floyds Knob just north of New Albany.

The golf course is a parkland layout on the north side of Little Indian Creek in a generally natural setting. The fairways are defined by trees featuring numerous slight doglegs, with sand traps primarily around the greens. Ponds and the Creek are also in play on multiple holes. There are four sets of tees, with the tips at 6,910 yards and a 128 slope. The middle tees are at 5,645 yards, 67.1/112 course and slope ratings, designed by William Diddle.
