Van Zandt CC is about 20 minutes east of Dallas in Canton off I-20 at exit 527.

It's a traditional layout along fairways dotted with oak and pine trees over slightly rolling topography. There's ponds and streams in play on multiple holes with sand bunkers mostly defending the modest, green complexes. There's four sets of tees and from the back tees it plays to 6,975 yards, 72.1/124, course/slope ratings, designed by Leon Howard in the mid-1960s.
