Verdict Ridge is northwest of Charlotte and west of Lake Norman off Rt 16 within a residential development.

The layout is over rolling hills through tree lined and boulder strewn fairways and ravines. There's water hazards in the form of Killian Creek, ponds, and wetlands and a modest amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and securing the greens. From the back tees it's 6,773 yards, 74.1/139, course/slope ratings, designed by Ed Schweitzer with three shorter tee boxes.
