John E. Walker Sr. Golf Course is the home course for Clemson University and is located south of campus on Hartwell Lake.

The golf course is a parkland layout with an open, links feel, yet the fairway corridors are bordered by dense forests. The golf course is challenging with numerous water hazards, including Hunnicutt Creek and well-placed sand bunkers protecting the fairways and greens, with the last five holes running along the shores of Lake Hartwell providing a strong finish. From the Tiger tees, it measures 6,911 yards, 72.5/134, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by DJ DeVictor.
