Wasioto Winds is located 40 miles south of Corbin off I-75 in Pine Mountain State Park set in a rolling valley surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains.

The course's main hazard is Clear Creek which traverses the layout from east to west producing numerous lakes and ponds. The broad fairways with scattered trees or dense forests at the borders are littered with sand traps leading to greens of varying shapes and sizes. There's five sets of tees from 4,058 yards to 7,037 yards at the tips, the white tees play to 5,850 yards, 68.5/126, course/slope ratings, a Hurdzan/Fry design.
