Wawenock Golf Club is located on Route 129 in Walpole just south of Damariscotta.

It's only a 9 holer, yet a step back in time with the Federalist style farmhouse as a clubhouse, the carts looking like they're from the 1950s, and a design hasn't been touched much over the years. The course is a parkland layout over slightly rolling terrain and mostly wide open off the tee with two water hazards, minimal sand bunkers, and modest, raised greens. It's 3,009 yards, 68.8/122, course/slope ratings from the tips with one shorter tee, designed by Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek.
