Wedgewood Cove Golf Club is on the southwest side of Albert Lea, ambling through a residential development on the east shore of Pickerel Lake.

The layout is a wide open, links-style design with the fairways bordered by tall fescue grasses. There are a generous number of water hazards in play, as well as a variety of shapes and sizes of sand traps along the landing zones and/or guarding the ample green complexes. Five sets of tees, from 5,136 yards to 6,993 yards at the tips, with the middle tees at 6,261 yards, 70.1/127, course/slope ratings, were designed by Garrett Gill and Jon Schmenk.
