The Wellington Golf Club is 35 miles south of Wichita off I-35 at US 160 on the west side of Wellington.

The layout is a classic, parkland design with fairways defined by old growth, hardwood trees over generally level terrain. There's a stream snaking through the eastern third of the course and a couple of ponds impacting play as well. The challenge lies in the small, round, and raised greensites well defended by sand bunkers. There's four sets of tees from 5,565 yards to 6,290 at the tips, 70.4/149, course/slope ratings, designed by A. Nelson in 1919.
