Whaling City Golf Course is a municipal layout about 30 minutes east of Providence off I-195 at exit 13B in New Bedford.

The course contains mostly parkland style holes along tree lined fairways with several water hazards and minimal sand bunkers. From the middle white tees the course plays to 6,487 yards, 70.2/126, course/slope ratings, originally designed by Donald Ross in 1920 as a nine hole course with another nine added in 1947.
