Whaling City Golf Course is a municipal layout about 30 minutes east of Providence off I-195 at exit 13B in New Bedford.

The course contains mostly parkland-style holes along tree-lined fairways with several water hazards and minimal sand bunkers. From the middle white tees, the course plays to 6,487 yards, 70.2/126, course/slope ratings, originally designed by Donald Ross in 1920 as a nine-hole course with another nine added in 1947.
