White Horse is within a residential development and affiliated with the Clearwater Casino just west of Seattle on the Kitsap Peninsula in a wooded area surrounded by Puget Sound and the Hood Canal.

The layout is carved through the fir, pine, and cedar forest along isolated corridors over a slight change in elevation through fairways bordered by tall fescue and wildflowers. It was designed by Pete Dye's niece Cynthia Dye McGarey with enhancements by John Harbottle, and plays to 7,093 yards, 74.7/141, course/slope from the back tees with five shorter tees.
