Whitetail Run is on the north side of Wadena on US 71 just north of the Leaf River surrounded by farmland.

It's a tale of two nines here with the front nine the former Wadena Country Club from 1926 featuring narrow, tree lined fairways over rolling contours leading to well protected, raised greens. The backside was designed by Joel Goldstrand in 1996 and has the feel of a wide, open links style layout with trees at the fairway's borders. There's numerous risk/reward opportunities or layups depending on your circumstance and ability as the fairways move over a broad expanse of land with multiple water hazards and sand traps in play. There's three sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,654 yards, 71.6/126, course/slope ratings.
