Whitetail Run is on the north side of Wadena on US 71, just north of the Leaf River, surrounded by farmland.

It's a tale of two nines here, with the front nine of the former Wadena Country Club from 1926 featuring narrow, tree-lined fairways over rolling contours leading to well-protected, raised greens. The backside was designed by Joel Goldstrand in 1996 and has the feel of a wide, open-links style layout with trees at the fairway's borders. There are numerous risk/reward opportunities or layups depending on your circumstance and ability as the fairways move over a broad expanse of land with multiple water hazards and sand traps in play. There are three sets of tees, with the tips playing to 6,654 yards, 71.6/126 course/slope ratings.
