Willow Lake is on the north side of Metter off I-16 at the Metter exit a little over an hour west of Savannah.

The course is set in the scenic countryside and characterized by narrow pine tree lined fairways over slightly rolling hills with numerous water hazards and well protected greensites. It was designed by Kennedy Dekle in the 1960s and can play to 6,483 yards from the tips, 70.7/132, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
