Willow Lake is on the north side of Metter off I-16 at the Metter exit a little over an hour west of Savannah.

The course is set in the scenic countryside and characterized by narrow pine tree-lined fairways over slightly rolling hills with numerous water hazards and well-protected greensites. It was designed by Kennedy Dekle in the 1960s and can play to 6,483 yards from the tips, 70.7/132, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
