The Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course is a compact 9-hole layout located in the center of town, right off I-80.

The golf course is a veritable oasis in the middle of the Nevada desert with lush green grass, tree-lined fairways, a couple of small ponds, and an easy walk as it's flat as a pancake with the greens and tees close together. It's challenging yet straightforward, with narrow fairways leading to modest greens well-defended by sand bunkers. It plays to 3,262 yards from the tips with 34.9/120 course/slope ratings with one shorter tee, designed by Bob Baldock.
