The Winnemucca Municipal golf course is a compact, 9 hole layout right off I-80 in the center of town.

The golf course is a veritable oasis in the middle of the Nevada desert with lush, green grass, tree lined fairways, a couple of small ponds, and an easy walk as it's flat as a pancake with the greens and tees close together. It's challenging yet straightforward with narrow fairways leading to modest greens well defended by sand bunkers. It plays to 3,262 yards from the tips with, 34.9/120, course/slope ratings with one shorter tee, designed by Bob Baldock.
