The Woodland is on the east side of Urbana in the country off Ludlow Road about an hour northwest of Columbus or 30 minutes from Marysville.

The layout is bordered by fields, farms, and forests with an entertaining mix of holes. Half the course is cut through the forest while the other half are open with scattered trees lining the fairways and ponds, streams, or wetlands in play on the majority of the holes, and sand bunkers greenside. There's four sets of tees from 4,886 yards to 6,453 yards, the Blues are 6,039 yards, 68.4/120 ratings, designed by Bill Parker in the early 1970s.
