Woodland Hills is 20 miles east of downtown Lincoln surrounded by farms and forest partially within a small residential community.

The course is appropriately named as it's a parkland layout ambling over rolling and heavily tree lined terrain along a blend of broad and narrow corridors. There's lakes, ponds, and streams in play on five holes and sand bunkers defend the fairways landing zones and greens. It was designed by Jeffrey Brauer in 1990 and from the back tees it's 6,670 yards, 73.0/132, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
