Woodland Hills is south of town on US 59 on the south side of the Nacogdoches Country Club.

The course lives up to its name as it traverses rolling, tree lined corridors with several forced carries over ponds, and sand bunkers bordering the fairways and greens in a scenic setting without development lining the course. It was designed by Don January in the 1970s and from the back tees is 6,620 yards, 72.0/133, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
