Zoar Village is in the Dover/New Philadelphia area 20 minutes south of Canton off exit 93 of I-77 to the east.

The golf course is a parkland style layout drifting over fairly level terrain with its share of challenges in the form of water hazards, sand traps, and doglegs which required shaping the tee ball. It plays 6,438 yards from the tips, 70.9/121, course/slope ratings or as short as 5,235 from the Red tees, designed by Geoffrey Cornish in the 1970s.
