Zoar Village is in the Dover/New Philadelphia area, 20 minutes south of Canton, off exit 93 of I-77 to the east.

The golf course is a parkland-style layout drifting over fairly level terrain. It has its share of challenges, such as water hazards, sand traps, and doglegs, which require shaping the tee ball. Designed by Geoffrey Cornish in the 1970s, it plays 6,438 yards from the tips, 70.9/121 course/slope ratings, or as short as 5,235 from the Red tees.
