The Albany Golf Club adjoins I-94 at the Albany exit 147 between St. Cloud and Sauk Centre.

The golf course is a parkland layout with narrow fairways defined by large, mature trees. Water hazards, such as ponds, streams, and wetlands, are present on all but two holes, and a modest number of conventional sand bunkers mostly guard the greens. Overall, there are four sets of tees, with the tips playing to 6,531 yards, 71.8/137, course/slope ratings, designed by John Harris.
