The Albany Golf Club adjoins I-94 at the Albany exit 147 between St. Cloud and Sauk Centre.

The golf course is a parkland layout with the narrow fairways defined by large, mature trees. There's water hazards in play on all but two holes in the form of ponds, streams, and wetlands with a modest amount of conventional sand bunkers mostly guarding the greens. There's four sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,531 yards, 71.8/137, course/slope ratings, designed by John Harris.
