The Alexandria Golf Club is on the north side of Alexandria on Nokomis Road, which splits the golf course.

The course is a parkland layout along old-growth, tree-lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain on the south side of Lakes Darling and L'Homme Dieu. It's generally straightforward save for several slight dog legs with sand traps defending the generous greens. There are six sets of tees, from 5,197 yards to 6,570 yards at the tips. The white tees are 5,716 yards, 67.7/118, course/slope ratings, Tom Bendelow design with renovation by Joel Goldstrand.
