Ambiente Golf Club is the favored one of two 18 hole, layouts at J.W. Marriott Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale.

The course is a redesign of an original, 1960s layout. Construction removed 1,000+ trees and planted over 1,400 Acacia and other indigenous trees and shrubs while creating 100+ acres of desert waste area bordering the fairways and greens. There's strategic bunkering both in the landing zones and greenside along with contoured, sloping and undulating green complexes. There's four sets of tees from 5,538 yards to 7,225 yards, the Camel tees play to 6,123 yards, 69.0/124, course/slope ratings. The layout, a Jack Snyder original design, was redesigned in 2013 by Jason Straka of Hurdzan/Fry.
