Legend Trail is in North Scottsdale north of Troon North on the east side of Pima Road.

The golf course is a desert style, design meandering through a residential community and a challenging, target layout where placement off the tee is critical, especially on the backside. The course moves through the Sonoran Desert over varying changes in elevation with an abundance of sand bunkers, both conventional and desert waste areas, in a setting with views of Pinnacle Peak and the Phoenix Valley throughout the round. It plays to 6,845 yards from the tips, 71.8/138, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees down to 4,910 yards, designed by the "Open Doctor" Rees Jones.
