Antrim Dells is located just off US 31 North, 32 miles north of Traverse City and 12 miles south of Charlevoix.

The layout's fairways are defined by trees, with the front side being more open and forgiving than the confining backside carved through the forests. The routing is over some change in elevation with the occasional water hazard, slight dogleg, and moderately bunkered fairways and greens. The layout was designed by Jerry Matthews in 1973 and is 6,606 yards, 72.1/125, course/slope ratings from the tips with two shorter tees.
