Arizona National Golf Club is located in a scenic setting in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains adjacent to the Coronado National Forest.

The course is a desert-style layout across arroyos, around rock outcroppings, and along mesquite-lined fairways. There's some elevation change with the views down the valley, the mountain range, and the forests of saguaros stunning. There's water in play on several holes and a generous amount of man-made sand bunkers in addition to the natural desert at the borders. It is 6,785 yards, 72.5/143, course/slope ratings from the rear tees, with five shorter tees, and was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. in 1995.
