The Artesia CC is on the northwest side of Artesia and is a private golf club open for public play on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The layout wanders over level land, with the fairways bordered by desert terrain. There are scattered trees at the borders, sand bunkers, and a couple of ponds in play, and overall, it is very playable and straightforward. It is 6,541 yards from the back tees, 69.9/117, course/slope ratings, and a par of 71 with three shorter tees. The original nine holes were designed by Ralph Plummer in the 1940s, with a new nine added by George Williams in 2001.
