The Artesia CC is on the northwest side of Artesia and is a private golf club but opens for play to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The layout wanders over level terrain with the fairways bordered by desert terrain. There's scattered trees at the borders with sand bunkers and a couple of ponds in play, and overall is very playable and straightforward. It is 6,541 yards from the back tees, 69.9/117, course/slope ratings and a par of 71 with three shorter tees, the original 9 holes were designed by Ralph Plummer in the 1940s with a new nine added by George Williams in 2001.
