Ashley Plantation is on the north side of Roanoke off I-81 at exit 150 in a scenic setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Meadows and Hills nines make up the championship layout which meanders through a residential development. The Meadows nine is somewhat hilly along broad, tree lined fairways with several strong par 4s and reachable par 5s in two. The Hills is most challenging with significant elevation change and a superb set of par 3s. The Plantation plays to 6,933 yards from the tips, 72.3/130, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Russell Breeden.
