Augusta Pines is in north Houston west of the Woodlands off Rayford Road in an upscale, residential development.

The golf course is a parkland style design through pine tree lined fairways with numerous risk/reward opportunities. There's water in play on eight holes including a couple of island greens with a generous amount of sand bunkers along the landing zones and guarding the greens. The course was designed by Dave Relford and from the back tees plays to 7,041 yards, 73.6/125, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees down to 5,007 yards.
