Augustine is in Stafford west of I-95 in a real estate development on a estate formerly owned by George Washington's father Augustine.

The routing is a hilly parkland style layout over varying degrees of elevation change through tree lined fairways with streams, ponds, or wetlands coming into play frequently as well as a liberal use of sand bunkers. It was designed by former Nicklaus associate Rick Jacobson and from the back tees is 6,725 yards, 73.2/140, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
