Badlands is located east of the Twin Cities in Roberts, Wisconsin just off I-94 at exit 10 to the north.

The golf course is over the rolling terrain in the St Croix Valley along tree lined fairways with water hazards on six holes and sand bunkers defending many of the greens and the occasional fairway. The course is only 6,280 yards, 69.3/121, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, designed by Dan Perry.
