Ballyowen Golf Club is part of the Crystal Springs Resort, about an hour from New York in the Kittatinny Mountain range and Vernon Valley.

The golf course is an inland link or Heathland design on a 250-acre tract of former rolling farmland in a stunning setting. The course borders the Walkill River to the west and journeys along broad, contoured, and mounded fairways through meadows of tall fescue grasses. Multiple water hazards and an abundance of sand bunkers defend the landing zones and generous greens. From the tips, it is 7,094 yards with a 74.1/134 course/slope rating and four shorter tees, designed by Roger Rulewich.
