Ballyowen Golf Club is part of the Crystal Springs Resort about an hour from New York in the Kittatinny Mountain range and Vernon Valley.

The golf course is a inland links or Heathland design on a 250 acre tract of former rolling farmland in a stunning setting. The course borders the Walkill River to the west and journeys along broad, contoured, and mounded fairways through meadows of tall fescue grasses. There's multiple water hazards and an abundance of sand bunkers defending the landing zones and generous greens.
